L3.2 Coding, AI and Robotics
DF0096
This course introduces learners to robotics, game development, and artificial intelligence through engaging, hands-on activities using the Quarky robot and PictoBlox application. By the end of the course, students will have gained practical skills in assembling robots, calibrating sensors, and using hardware to control digital elements. They will learn to develop interactive games, such as a Fruit Catching Game and Touch Piano, integrating Quarky’s inputs with PictoBlox coding.
The course also provides foundational knowledge of AI, including face detection and expression recognition, enabling students to create projects like Quarky Face Mimic. Each session is designed to build technical and problem-solving skills progressively, fostering creativity and innovation. The final assessment will evaluate learners’ understanding of key concepts and their ability to apply these skills in practical scenarios, preparing them for more advanced STEM challenges.
