Throughout this module, students will immerse themselves in the dynamic world of coding, artificial intelligence, and robotics by creating innovative projects that merge fun and learning. Using PictoBlox and Quarky, they will refine their skills in robotics concepts, game development, and AI-powered applications like face detection and expression recognition. Students will engage in projects such as the Catch the Fruit Game, where they will learn about randomness, sprite control, and score tracking, leveraging Quarky's buttons to enhance interactivity. They will also explore Quarky’s touch pins to create musical games and delve into programming loops and criteria for logical thinking. Advanced sessions will introduce students to AI concepts like face detection, expression tracking, and building their own face filter applications, culminating in projects where Quarky mimics facial expressions. By the end of this module, learners will gain hands-on experience in robotics, AI, and programming. They will build critical thinking and problem-solving abilities while exploring real-world applications of artificial intelligence and robotics through creative and interactive activities.
