L3.3 Coding, AI and Robotics

DF0097

This course offers learners foundational skills in robotics and artificial intelligence through practical, hands-on projects and activities using the Quarky robot and PictoBlox application. Students will explore the mechanics of robots, from controlling movements and setting parameters to programming complex functions like wireless control and gripper mechanisms.

The course also introduces AI concepts, such as face detection, with projects like Face Filters. Through activities like building weather monitoring systems and playing Robo Soccer, learners will develop problem-solving, collaboration, and strategic thinking skills. Each session is designed to progressively enhance their understanding of robotics, programming, and AI while fostering creativity and teamwork.

By the end of the course, learners will have created engaging projects and demonstrated their grasp of core concepts in a final assessment, preparing them for advanced STEM challenges and real-world applications.
