L5.3 Coding, AI and Robotics

DF00103

This course integrates robotics, artificial intelligence, and game development concepts to foster innovative thinking and technical proficiency. Leveraging Quarky and PictoBlox, students will engage in creating advanced projects like gesture-controlled robots, self-driving cars, and machine learning applications such as mask detection and hand gesture recognition.

Students will explore the functionality of servos, implement control flow, and develop scripts for wireless control and nested if-statements. Projects like the Gripper Robot City Challenge encourage teamwork, strategic thinking, and creativity, while activities like the ML-based games enhance AI understanding.

By the course's end, learners will have mastered building gesture-controlled robots, gripper robots, and autonomous systems. The final assessment evaluates their grasp of robotics, AI, and game concepts, preparing them for advanced STEM projects.
